| John Badwater is an independent NDIS worker with lived experience of disability and the challenges of the workplace. He provides assistance to job seekers with a work history, focusing initially on their career goals and aspirations before exploring aspects of their disability that may require workplace adjustments. Services are delivered online, using a secure application that is trusted by doctors and health professionals throughout Australia.
Services include, resume writing, establishing an online search profile, application cover letters and key selection criteria, interview guidance, references and development of a proforma workplace adjustment agreement that can be discussed with potential employers. For participants currently employed and looking to change jobs, the service again looks at career goals and options for transferring workplace adjustments to the new employer. The service is completely person-centred and supported by the content of a personalised service agreeement. NDIS participants must be self-managed or plan managed and have funds available in Finding and Keeping a Job. |
